A spare component can deteriorate before it reaches a machine if moisture, contamination or missing identification goes unnoticed. Storage quality is part of replacement readiness.

Preserve the supplier's protection

Keep the original protective packaging and port closures where suitable. Store in the environmental conditions specified by the supplier. Do not remove caps simply to display the part, and do not apply an unapproved preservative that may conflict with the future operating fluid.

Keep identity and condition together

Label the complete model code, received date and any preservation or inspection requirement. Keep accessories, drawings and configuration records with the unit. A visually identical spare may have a different coil, seal material or spool function.

Inspect before installation

Review the permitted storage period and any recommissioning instructions. Check packaging damage, corrosion and missing closures through an approved inspection process. A long-stored component should not be assumed ready for immediate loaded operation without the required checks.

Practical checklist

  • Retain clean port closures and suitable packaging.
  • Track model configuration and storage requirements.
  • Inspect and prepare the spare before installation.

Discuss your application

Explore related hydraulic products, or send JIUDING your model code and application details. Include the circuit drawing and the operating conditions relevant to the checks above so the required configuration can be reviewed.
